REVIEW: Complete Me by Claire Raye

You guys have NO IDEA how much I've bugged Claire Raye for this book for days on end!!!! And I'll be honest and say I was NOT expecting the story to take this kind of turn after that cliffhanger at the end of Complicate Me. If you've read the first book you think you know how the story will evolve. Complicate Me was a college romance story of friends turned kinda enemies turned lovers, but Complete Me is SO MUCH MORE.

This book is an intricate story full of betrayal, heartbreak and the power that family is more than blood. It picks up right where Complicate me ended and it goes full throttle from then on and it was more than a romance novel. So much more. Where the first book was all about Reid and Sienna's relationship, Complete Me, in my opinion, was about all of them, Reid, Sienna AND Caleb. It was about the power of their friendship, about how together they're stronger and can take on anything and everything and everyone, which they did. It was about the sacrifices each one of them would make for the other. It was about how sometimes you have the weight of the world on your shoulders and you might stumble a lot but with the right people by your side to lend an unconditional hand your way, you can power through and maybe some day stand on your own two feet again.

They might all have spent 2 years apart from each other one way or another, figuratively or not, and they might all have kept secrets, big os small, from each other, but the powerful connection they created with one another when they were 5 was as powerful as ever and helped them the lives they were supposed to have.

Man, I always seem to write complete essays when it comes to Claire Raye's book, but I honestly can't recommend this duet enough and I LOVED the fact these two ladies surprised me so damn much with where they took the story that started in Compliacte me. My mind was blown away with how versatile these women are and can't wait for more of their stories. I know Caleb will break my heart and Ruby will put it back together and I can't wait for all the angst and Claire Raye's magical words.
