REVIEW: Cocksure by K Webster

Up until now I've only read the Dolls series K Webster had co-written with Ker Dukey so I had no idea really what I was getting into. And I'm happy to report that I was NOT disappointed!!!

This was an amazingly funny and sweet story with an icy bitchy princess, a cocky Mexican lord of the skies, a glittery diva, a sweet pop (I'm guessing) princess, a hurricane and every possible hilarious moment you could imagine.

Sheridan Reid is the definition of a Daddy's girl and will stop at nothing to get to where she wants. She's been after her dad's best friend, David, for ages, and with her dad's wedding soon, she's hoping David will finally put a ring on it. But fate has other plans for our icy princess with no friends and only work, her dad and David to keep her company.

Enter the most amazing group of quirky and quite possibly the most crazy people you could ever get in a private airport lounge. And of course, our cocky Mexican pilot. After the delay in taking off, which introduced us to Sheridan's bitchiness in full technicolor, the pilots are alerted to a hurricane coming their way and they need to make an emergency landing. And obviously they would land in Mexico and specifically where our dreamy cocky pilot, Camilo Zaragoza grew up.

I honestly haven't laughed this much or this hard while reading a book in ages and it felt extremely good. At first, I honestly couldn't accept Sheridan with her bitchiness and her holier than thou attitude and I came to realise that's what the author wanted us to feel in order for the heroine's journey to feel more impactful.

Camilo was so dreamy and funny and I loved the fact that he didn't mind making a fool of himself. All I'm going to say is "Lola scene" and leave it at that so as not to ruin it.

I loved seeing Carter and a bit of Kendall from Playboy Pilot and especially how involved Carter was in this story. Cocksure Ace is an amazingly sweet, funny and worthy addition to the Cocky Hero Club and I would LOVE for K to write Damian's story, I simply can't candle his awesomeness!!!
